National Student Leadership Week · Apr 20–24, 2026
This Week is Yours.
National Student Leadership Week celebrates the students who show up, organize, and make things happen. We're celebrating it by making sure your desk is as sharp as your leadership.
Good Leaders Set Big Goals
The best student leaders know exactly where they're going. They set academic targets. They track progress. Goals remind you why you started and where you're headed. The six things every goal-driven student leader has in common:
1. Clarity 2. Direction 3. Follow-Through 4. Consistency 5. Ownership 6. Vision
Great leadership starts in your head. But it lives on paper. Here's what you need.
1. A Real Academic Planner
Put your Google Calendar down. The best academic planners give you weekly layouts and a full semester overview on your desk, where you can see it.
Open it every Sunday. Map the week. Own Monday.
2. A Dedicated Meeting Notebook
Student council, NHS, club meetings…they deserve their own notebook. Agendas, action items, deadlines. You're running a small organization.
3. A Goal Sticker Pack
Student leaders need a system. Use the Goal Sticker Pack as a student leadership tool.
Kevin's Rule Stickers: every other month, do something completely outside your routine. This is how you grow beyond the classroom.
Misogi Stickers: pick one massive goal for 2026. Blue sticker when you commit. Gold sticker when you crush it. Put both in your planner.
4. A Goal Journal
Write down what you're trying to accomplish monthly. Academic targets, leadership milestones, personal goals. When the week gets hard… and it will, this is what pulls you back. Read it daily.
5. A Weekly Review Page
End of the week: what did you crush, what fell apart, what's next. Take five minutes for this one.
The leaders who review weekly are the ones who keep leveling up.
"We don't aim high enough with our goals. We all have more in us, and we are all capable of aiming higher."
- Jesse Itzler
